Accutech believes that producing homegrown STEM professionals is an important step in the continual development of the Territory of Nunavut. To support this belief, Accutech Engineering Inc is proud to sponsor a scholarship for Nunavut Land Claims beneficiaries enrolled in the Engineering Technology Programs at the Red River College. This annual award will support one full-time student per year that is pursuing an Engineering Technology Field.
The award is Accutech’s way of giving back to the people — and future technologists — of Nunavut, recognizing that educations in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) have a positive impact on capacity-building and self-reliance within the Territory.
This scholarship is available to a full-time Nunavummiut student in enrolled in any Engineering Technologist program at the Red River College. Preference for this scholarship is given to Nunavut Land Claims Beneficiaries to recognize the critical role that Inuit play in the history and future of Nunavut. Preference is also given to individuals enrolled in their first-year of studies in order to assist with relieving the financial burden of relocating to Winnipeg.
